What Dave did was push me to make the best website I could make for our audience and enjoy the process and learn at every corner. I was part of an amazing team but he made us all feel like we were special. Probably because we were because he only hired amazing people and that first 30 at Technorati are some of the most talented people I’ve ever known and I learned so much from them all but Dave brought us all together and we made something great and we had an amazing time doing it.

I look back at my time at Technorati as the highlight of my career and I have Dave to thank for that.
— Jason DiFillippo, Co-Host at Grumpy Old Geeks
Dave is a pretty amazing guy. He’s one of the few people i know who has successfully moved up the startup food chain from CTO to CEO. Amazing technical depth, but also terrific business experience and all-around nice person. Pretty funny too. Highly recommend you ask him about the “Startups are just like Commandos” analogy. buy him a beer first tho ;)
— Dave McClure, Founder of 500 Startups
Time really flies when you are truly learning something. That’s how I felt talking to Dave. I thought I had a simple idea but Dave helped me realize otherwise. I am already taking steps suggested by Dave and can’t wait to schedule another call with him.
