The wind was blowing out of the east on the weekend of the 17th so we got a lot of ashfall and smoke from the Day Fire. The cooler weather of this past week has enabled the firefighters to gain control and some of them are being sent home. Today, it's raining so perhaps they can finally put this monster to sleep!
